Tu Fisioterapeuta/Osteopata puede acompañarte durante todo el período de gestación y ayudarte para el momento del parto. Durante el embarazo y tras los cambios que se producen en el cuerpo de la mujer mes a mes mientras se desarrolla el feto van apareciendo diversas patologías o sintomatología que hace que la mujer no pueda disfrutar de su embarazo como debiera o deseara.
Las patologías más frecuentes en la mujer embarazada son:
- Lumbalgia
- Ciáticas
- Edemas y piernas cansadas
- Síndrome del túnel carpiano
- Cefaleas y migrañas
Ante toda esta sintomatología que aparece causada principalmente por todos los cambios posturales que experimenta la futura mamá vuestro Fisioterapeuta/Osteopata os puede ayudar a apaliar dichos dolores, siempre bajo una exploración previa de la mamá, teniendo en cuenta la semana de gestación en la que se encuentra para saber qué técnicas son recomendables y pautar el tratamiento más adecuado a cada mujer. Para la preparación al parto vuestro Osteopata también puede ayudaros. En torno a la 36 semana de gestación, valoraremos principalmente la movilidad de la pelvis, por si existiera alguna restricción de movimiento que dificultara la salida del bebé por el canal del parto con sus posibles consecuencias negativas tanto para la mamá (desgarros, episiotomías…) como para el bebé (daño a nivel de los huesos del cráneo con solapamiento de los huesos, fracturas de clavícula, tener que utilizar fórceps o ventosas…). Por ello queremos ayudarte a disfrutar de tu embarazo, una etapa de la vida de la mujer única e irrepetible.
